A suspected drug pusher was shot down inside his makeshift hut in barangay Tubod, Minglanilla town yesterday.
Senior Insp. Richard Gadingan, Minglanilla police chief, said 35-year-old Wilson Abrineco was found drenched in his own blood with three gunshot wounds in his body and left arm.
Police recovered from inside his hut assorted drug paraphernalia and five bullets from a .45 pistol.
They arrested a suspect in Abrineco’s death identified as Sedencio Alicaba of barangay Tubod at 3 p.m. also yesterday.
Gadingan said Abrineco was alone when he was gunned down inside his hut.
He said Abrineco’s common-law partner, who had left him five months ago, told police that the victim’s hut also served as a venue for pot sessions.
Gadingan told reporters that Alicaba also faces murder charges for the death of another victim.
