Man hacks brother

A 28-YEAR-OLD man was hacked by his younger brother after a heated argument in barangay Taytayan, Bogo City, northern Cebu last Sunday afternoon.

Raymond Villamor Batac sustained two hack wounds in the back and in the left foot. His brother Johnny was arrested after the incident and will be charged with frustrated homicide, said PO3 Elimar Ricardo Mendoza, investigator of the Bogo City Police Station.

Police said Raymond was drunk when he got into an argument with his brother. At the height of the argument, Raymond jumped into a deep well. This further irked Johnny as the well was the family’s source of drinking water.

After Raymond was fished out of the well by his cousins, Johnny got a bolo and attacked him, police said.
