P700K stolen in Balamban burglary

At least P700,000 cash and other belongings were stolen from a medical clinic in  Balamban town, midwest Cebu.

Police said the thieves entered the clinic in barangay  Sta. Cruz by destroying the window’s iron grill and detaching some jalousie blades.

It was around 10 a.m. last Tuesday when Dr. Niel Gaco Sinda, owner of the clinic, reported the theft, said  PO1 Alexander Camoro.

Once inside,  the thieves destroyed a steel cabinet where  the valuables were kept.

Aside from cash,  the intruders stole a wrist watch worth P80,000 and a Canon digital camera worth P25,000.

The case is still under  investigation, police said.
