Biggest floating bookshop arrives in Cebu

Students, volunteers welcome the arrival of the world’s biggest floating bookshop as it docked in Cebu, Tuesday morning.

The vessel, operated by German charity group GBA (Good Books for All), carries 5,000 book titles from science, cookery, philosophy, arts, sports among others sold at affordable prices.

The vessel will be open for the public starting tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. On Sunday, it will be open from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

It is docked at the Malacañang sa Sugbo Presidential berth.

Entrance ticket is at P20 per person. Children under 13 years old and senior citizens 60 years old and above may enter for free.

The vessel will be in Cebu until May 29.
