USC teams still rolling

THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos (USC) continued to tear through the field in the under-19 and under-15 divisions while the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) remained unbeaten in the under-12 class in the ongoing M. Lhuillier Summer League over at the SHS-AdC basketball courts along Mango Avenue.

In the under-15 class, USC-Basic Education Department downed sister squad USC-South in a huge way, 84-42, to up its record to 3-0 (win-loss) while pulling the latter’s down to 2-1.

The University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP-F) also manhandled the LCC, 77-30, to tie with USC at the top.

In other games, SHS-AdC clobbered St. Cecilia’s, 64-40, while Abellana National School got past Jagobiao, 71-61.

In the under-19 division, USC crushed Abellana, 121-23, while the USC-B defeated USP-F A, 57-43.

Both USC squads now boast 3-0 marks in the said category with USP-F B a step behind at 2-1 after it beat Jagobiao, 70-33. SHS-AdC 1 also nipped SHS-AdC 2, 64-43.

In the under-12 class, SHS-AdC edged out the University of the Visayas, 39-35, to push its unblemished record to 3-0. Bacay Elementary School slipped past LCC, 31-28, while Don Bosco beat Monterey School, 40-35. USC also routed USP-F, 39-16.
