BASKETBALL games in the 8th Mandaue City Mayor’s Cup were postponed due to venue problems.
Due to the 2015 Balik Bayan Nite event that took place yesterday at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex, the basketball games was moved to today.
The tournament was momentarily stopped to give way to the Mandaue City fiesta last May 8. It was supposed to resume yesterday.
Instead, the games will resume today starting with a game in the mini midget division at 3 p.m. between Centro and Cambaro.
At 4 p.m., Tabok will battle Cabancalan while Tipolo and Cubacub face off at 5 p.m.
The junior and senior games will kick off at 6 p.m. as Guizo faces Banilad followed by a game between Pagsabungan and Looc at 7 p.m.
For the Senior B category, Mantuyong will face Jagobiao at 8 p.m. while Ibabao and Casuntingan’s senior A Open wraps up the night.
