A farmer was shot and killed allegedly by his two neighbors in barangay Nangka, Boljoon town, southern Cebu on Wednesday afternoon.
Ricardo Gumera succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspects, identified by police as Randy Bintasal, 29, and Charlie Romagera, 26, were arrested in a hot-pursuit operation.
Personal grudges could have been the motive in the attack, said SPO2 Carlito Amarillo of Boljoon Police Station.
Police said the victim was walking home after buying food from a nearby store when he was waylaid.
The two suspects fled but were arrested about an hour after the attack.
Police said murder charges will be filed against the two suspects.
