MILAN “El Metodico” Melindo (31-1-0, 12KOs) is calling out to Filipino boxing fans around the world to support and pray for him when he enters into hostile territory to challenge International Boxing Federation (IBF) World Light Flyweight champion Javier “Cobra” Mendoza (23-2-1, 19 KO’s) on May 30 in Mexico.
“Sa tanan boxing fans, manghinaot unta ko ninyo tanan nga ayaw mo ug hunong ug suporta sa mga batan-ong Filipino boxers ug athletes kay among gibuhat tanan namong makaya para i-saka ang bandera sa atong nasud sa sports,” Melindo said.
“Maayo unta inyoha kong tabangan ug suporta ug tabangan pag ampo nga magmalampuson ko sa akong umaabot nga away sa Mexico”,
The bout supposed to be held on March 28 but was rescheduled to May 30 due to promotional dispute.
