UST’s Journalism course starts in August

THE University of Santo Tomas in Manila will begin offering a master of arts in journalism program  when classes begin Aug. 10.

UST’s MA in Journalism program is open to starting and veteran journalists, young graduates interested in journalism and news media work, teachers of journalism and communication programs, and even foreign students.

The 42-unit program will be an international program that will expose graduate students to current trends in  Philippine journalism and journalism in other countries, while attempting to blend journalism practice with theory and research.

There will also be subjects that keep abreast with current trends such as data journalism and courses that  emphasize ethics for journalists.

Applications for the first term are welcome up to June 30. Application materials are available for download  on  https://graduateschool.ust.edu.ph/admission-policies.
