CRIMINAL charges were filed against American national Harold Glover before the Bogo City Prosecutors’ Office yesterday afternoon.
Glover, a pensioner from Georgia, USA, was charged with human trafficking, attempting to commit child prostitution, and rape. Fiscal Ivy Tejano received the complaints.
Lawyer Vince Isles of Children’s Legal Bureau (CLB) accompanied the four minors while Bogo City police escorted Glover during the filing.
“I am very sure there will be more charges because the children have disclosures,” he told Cebu Daily News on the telephone.
Glover’s Filipina cohort, who is now in hiding, will also be charged for trafficking. The Filipina cohort reportedly recruits the girls and gets a cut from the transactions.
The girls were allegedly paid by Glover P1,500 to P1,800 for sex and P500 to P800 to touch their private parts.
The girls have allegedly been meeting with Glover for over a year.
Police arrested Glover on Wednesday in his rented house in barangay Taytayan, Bogo City. He was allegedly caught with his pants down in front of two minor girls.
