The property development arm of Gaisano Grand Group is pouring P7.8 billion into seven housing projects in Cebu this year.

These include four City Homes projects and three condominium projects, said Ryan Bernard Go, president of Grand Land, Inc.

The four City Homes projects are: City Homes Mactan; City Homes Mandaue; City Homes Minglanilla; and City Homes Premiere in Pagsabungan, Mandaue City.

The condominium projects are the Grand Residences in Banilad, Cebu City; Amani Grand Mactan; and Grand Tower Cebu.

The total investment for these projects has reached P7.8 billion.

This includes P4 billion for Grand Residences East and North Tower, P2 billion for Grand Tower Cebu, P1.5 billion for all four City Homes projects and P300,000 for the first tower of Amani Grand Mactan.

Go said in an interview last Tuesday that they have started to venture into the tourism scene through their Grand Tower Cebu project in the Cebu North Reclamation Area.

“The 30-story tower will have two floors for commercial use, 11 floors for office spaces and 11 floors for the hotel, which will be operated by Dusit International under their Dusit Princess brand,” Go said.

The project is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

Go said that next year, they are also planning to expand outside of Cebu, specifically in Davao.

Aside from that, they will also be developing a socialized housing project in Mactan. It will be a residential condominium located near JPark Island Resort and Waterpark.

“We are just awaiting the permits from HLURB (Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board) for this project),” he said.
