THE PHILIPPINES’ women’s bowling team bagged a bronze medal in the the 28th Southeast Asian Games tenpin bowling championship last Thursday at the Orchid Country Club in Singapore.
Cebuana Alexis Marie Sy together with teammates Lara Posadas and Maria Arles led the Philippines 2 Team to a total of 3,608 pinfalls good for third place in the championship level.
Winning the silver was Singapore 2 with a total of 3,707 pinfalls while Singapore 1 got the gold with a total of 3,963 pins downed.
Sy downed 1,195 pins while Posadas toppled 1,226. Arles scored 1,187 pinfalls.
Philippines 1 Team settled for fifth with a total of 3,579 pinfalls. This team is composed of Liza del Rosario (1,257), Krizzhia Tabora (1141) and Liza Clutario (1181).
