THE DYAB Kapamilya Run, one of the longest running footraces in Cebu, kicks off today at the Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu.
Around a thousand runners will answer the starting gun in the race that will feature three distances, the 21-kilometer half marathon, 10k and 3k categories.
Runners will traverse through Cebu City’s major thoroughfares.
The foortrace also serves as a charity event. This year’s beneficiary is the Sapangdaku Barangay Hall and Elementary School and the 1,991 scholars of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Some of the proceeds will also go to ABS-CBN Cebu’s charitable projects.
The running event is also part of the series of activities lined up for dyAB’s 20th anniversary this month.
