Travelite Travel and Tours and Japan Travel Bureau (JTB) had recently signed a business alliance agreement to strengthen the travel market of Cebu and Japan last February 10.
During the alliance dinner hosted by the two big travel agencies, JTB president and general manager Tomoyuki Okagawa said that along with the business alliance, efforts to bring more Japanese tourists in the country and prop up Cebu’s tourism shall roll out soon.
But before the alliance was sealed between the travel agencies, general manager of Travelite Travel and Tours Tim Tio said that several meetings and negotiations were conducted to ensure the success of the endeavor so as to create a valuable and efficient partnership between the agencies.
The JTB and Travelite have been making significant contributions to the tourism industry for years now. JTB is one of the largest travel agencies worldwide with over 34 offices across the globe. It has recently put up its first branch in the country on Bonifacio Global City. Meanwhile, Travelite is a homegrown travel and tours company that started its operations in 2006. Growing impressively through the years, it now has two other branch offices in Luzon and Mindanao namely in Makati City and Davao City.
