A Cebuana and her husband were found dead in their home in the state of Louisiana, the US last Tuesday morning.

Avery Lennon Aubyn Jones, 48 years old, was reported to have shot his wife Indra Marie Sarong-Jones, 36 years old after an argument.

Based on a report of Daily World, Avery’s son was sleeping in another room when he heard a gunshot. The younger Jones said his father told him he shot his wife. Avery then went to another room and shot himself.

The St. Landry Parish Sheriff received a shooting alarm at 6:01 a.m. The neighbors, in 700 Blk of Glen Street in Opelousas, Louisiana said they heard the couple arguing before the shooting.

Neighbors Darrell and Vanessa Thibodeaux, who have lived on Glen Street for over 30 years, described the neighborhood with the married couple as quiet.

Indra’s family in Pinamungajan town, southern Cebu sought the help of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD) to bring her remains back to the province.

A close friend of Indra in the US is starting to raise at least $15,000 for the funeral and transportation cost.
