With the brand new season of the NCAA opening this weekend, several Cebuano standouts are set to see action after they made the final rosters of their respective squads.

True to his word, Co included Menina into his final roster where he joins former University of San Carlos (USC) wingman Stephen Que.
The Letran Knights, on the other hand, will have big man Jomari Sollano, who once suited up for the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP–F) Panthers before eventually transferring once word got out of the latter’s disbandment  last year. Sollano has actually raised eyebrows with his impressive play during the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup.
Meanwhile, former University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancer Edcor Marata, the cousin of current Alaska Ace Cyrus Baguio, hopes to finally have found his home with the Lyceum Pirates after bouncing around from the University of Santo Tomas and the University of the East.
Finally, the Arellano University Chiefs boast of two Cebuanos on their side in Julius Cadavis and the debuting Ivan Meca, another former standout of USP-F.
