At least 20 juvenile sharks are found to be sold in a wet market in Dalaguete town, south of Cebu.
A biology student took a photo of the sharks displayed along with other fish for sale at the public market in Dalaguete town, Sunday. The photos were posted in the Facebook account of Marine Wildlife Watch of the Philippines and is now being reposted by concerned individuals and environment advocates.

Dalaguete Mayor Ronald Allan Cesante said he will check on the reports.
Cebu is the only province in the Philippines to have an ordinance protecting all species of sharks and rays.
