A LOW pressure area (LPA) east of the Visayas is expected to dump more rains in the coming days, the state weather bureau Pag-asa said yesterday.
As of 5 p.m. yesterday, the LPA was located 575 kilometers east of northern Samar.
“Expect occurrence of rains to last for about one to two hours,” weather analyst Evangeline Tolentino of Pag-asa’s Mactan station said.
She said the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will also bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms in the Visayas and Mindanao region.

“We advise everyone to bring with them umbrellas to protect themselves from possibilities of rain,” Tolentino said.
