Cebu Landmasters, Inc. (CLI) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Habitat for Humanity Philippines (HFHP) last May 5. The MOA formalizes the partnership between CLI and HFHP in rebuilding over 311 homes as part of the Habitat’s Re-Build Bohol Housing Project. Re-Build Bohol aims to build 8,083 homes in the 17 municipalities of Bohol which were affected by the October 15, 2013 magnitude 7.2 earthquake.
“CLI is committed to partnering with Habitat Philippines in rebuilding the homes of our brother Boholanos. We salute the ongoing efforts of Habitat, and we are honored to do our part as a responsible Filipino corporate citizen through this contribution,” thus stated by Mr. Jose R. Soberano III, President and CEO (CLI), in a simple ceremony attended by Ma. Rosario B. Soberano, Vice President (CLI) and Jose Franco B. Soberano, Chief Operating Officer (CLI).
Also in attendance in the signing activity wereCharlito S. Ayco, Managing Director and CEO (HFHP), Ms. Yvonne C. Lih, Chief Marketing Officer (HFHP) and Carlos B. Holganza Central-Western Visayas Regional Head (HFHP).
“It is through the generous support of local corporations like Cebu Landmasters, that Habitat is able to bring people together to build homes, communities and hope. We hope to prosper this fruitful relationship in delivering needed homes to Filipino families,” said Ayco.
