Cebu Marriott bags two Tripadvisor awards

 

Inducted into ‘Hall of Fame’ of Five-time Certificate of Excellence Winners on the World’s Largest Travel Site, TripAdvisor, Cebu City Marriott Hotel (CCMH) exceeds expectations of new and returning guests with its consistent service excellence and genuine hospitality.

The Certificate of Excellence award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. The ‘Hall of Fame’ was created to honor those businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years.

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account the quality, quantity and most current of reviews and opinions submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as business’s tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Cebu City Marriott Hotel did not only win the TripAdvisor Excellence Award for its guest room accommodations but also for the Garden Café Restaurant which ranks as the number one restaurant out of 404 (1/404) restaurants in Cebu City. GM Carroll expresses, “What an honor to receive this recognition from TripAdvisor. It is the first time for the Garden Café to receive this award and we have our international culinary team and dining patrons to thank for their efforts and honest reviews of our restaurant.”

In recent months, Cebu Marriott has also introduced new tech-enabled innovations to further enhance guest experience such as Mobile Check-in and Red Coat Direct for convenient meeting requests using their personal gadgets.
