BE vigilant against fake enumerators or lista -takers.
Director Mercedita Jabagat of the Department of Social Welfare and Development-7 (DSWD-7) warned the public anew amid the ongoing second round of family assessments for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
“There might be bogus or fake enumerators who will knock on your doors and ask money before your household will be assessed,” Jabagat said.
The DSWD earlier defined enumerators as people the agency hired to assess target households in certain areas. They conduct interviews for the DSWD’s Listahan program or 4Ps.
She said DSWD’s enumerators are officially and properly identified in their assigned areas.
“We issued them a red vest with the DSWD logo in front and Listahan logo at the back, and a DSWD identification card,” she said.
The assigned enumerator will also post a sticker on the house’s front door as proof that the household has been assessed. /UP Intern Mary Claire U. Catado
