A new show has just debuted on DYRF Radio Fuerza (1215 AM), which is operated by the Society of the Divine Word.
“Panag-ambitay” (Visayan for sharing) is aired every Monday from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It is co-anchored by Fr. Randy Figuracion, SDB of the Salesians of Don Bosco–South Province, professional catechist Carol Arcenal-Gatchalian and HR practitioner Marlon Ardiente.
Figuracion writes a monthly column in Cebu Daily News. Arcenal trains catechists for the Archdiocese of Cebu in the Evangelium Program of Don Bosco Formation Center, while Ardiente works as an administrative head.
Together, the three hosts will share their experiences and insights on life and living, spirituality, family, relationships, parenting and the youth, focus of the charism of the various communities under the Salesian family started by St. John Bosco, among others.
The show has lined up guest resource persons for its variety of topics.
The Salesians of Don Bosco, which co-produces the show with DYRF, designed it to accommodate a broad range of subject matters relevant to the Filipino family, including contemporary issues facing the latter.
Unique in its interactive format, ‘Panag-ambitay’ welcomes phone-in or short-message participation from its audience. It is available on the web through the station’s digital App for iOS and Android devices.
The launch of ‘Panag-ambitay’ comes more than a month before the 200th birth anniversary of Salesian founder St. John Bosco or Don Bosco, known worldwide as the Father and Friend of the Youth, on Aug. 16, 2015.
Don Bosco 200 happens in Cebu on Aug. 15 at the Don Bosco Technology Center.
