CEBU City Hall will receive P5 million from Sen. Pia Cayetano’s Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) for the Colon Revitalization Project.
Project head Jerone Castillo said the P5 million will be coursed through the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
A survey done on the Estero de Parian creek near Colon area revealed that 59 households will be affected by the city government’s redevelopment programs.
Castillo said changes are expected in the Colon night market in November this year as boundary markers and more lighting will be set up there.
He said a P5 million fund will be used to improve historical landmarks in Colon.
