Cebu 75k ultramarathon underway

HARD CORE Cebuano runners started their grueling 72-kilometer run in the  Cebu City 360° 75K Ultramarathon  late last night at the Family Park in barangay Talamban, Cebu City.

The running event, which is participated by 193 runners, is organized by Team Lingaw Managan and Prince Multi Sports Events Inc., headed by Doc Willie Estepa and Prince Joseph Baltazar.

The run started at 12 midnight and has a cut-off time of 15 hours.

All finishers will receive a medal, a shirt and a trophy that is a replica of Magellan’s Cross.

The route takes runners to Cebu City’s mountain barangays of Manipis, Bon-bon, Sin-sin, Sudlon, Busay before going back to the starting line
The running serves as a preparation for a 105k run from Naga City next Saturday.
