CEBUANO bowlers from Bowlingplex Tenpin Association (BTA) came up with a productive stint in the Lipa City Tenpin Bowling Association (LCTBA) Open held last June 25-26 in Lipa, Batangas.
A total of 45 keglers from around the country vied to qualify for the LCTBA Open Division tournament.
Five Cebuano keglers made it to the qualifying round.
Wilbert Yu grabbed second-place honors with 2,150 pinfalls. Bel Suelto, who had the 30th spot during the qualifying round, wound up fifth with 2,108 pinfalls.
Clarence Tiu topped the qualifying round with 1,353. Other qualifiers were Aui Padawan and Clifford Tan.
