The Mandaue City Police Office said they are looking at personal grudge as the motive in the murder of lawyer Amelie Ocanada-Alegre.

Senior Supt. Mariano Natuel, Mandaue City police chief, said they are taking into consideration the account of Alegre’s mother, Marieta.
Police found residents of the area who were willing to testify on what happened. MCPO is also reviewing security camera footage in the command center as well as security camera footage of commercial establishments near the crime scene.
Natuel said they are calling Alegre’s husband Ryan, a businessman based in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City./ Melissa Cabahug
