The regional Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) launched two Negosyo Centers at their provincial and regional offices, Tuesday morning.

These Negosyo Centers will provide aid to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing government agencies and business related services in the DTI, as mandated by Republic Act No. 10644 or the ‘Go Negosyo Act’.

The event was attended by Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Ma. Teresa Chan, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, and Provincial Board (PB) Member Miguel Antonio A. Magpale for Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III’s behalf.

“The establishment of the Negosyo Centers is full of challenges, nevertheless, success is inevitable. These will provide an enabling environment for Filipinos,” Magpale said.

A third Negosyo Center will open in Bogo tomorrow while two more will be opened within Central Visayas before the year ends.
