Confused by the traffic rerouting?

Cebu  residents and visitors can check traffic announcements online.

The Cebu provincial government releases advisories on APEC developments at
– www.cebu.gov.ph
–  its official FB page at facebook.com/cebugovph, and
– Twitter @cebugovph.

The Cebu City government also issues traffic advisories through its Citom official Facebook page.

“Keep up to date with traffic announcements as we can mostly determine ahead of time when to close the roads to clear the way for APEC delegates,” said regional director Arnel Tancinco of the Land Transportation Office (LTO).

Tancinco said their office is coordinating with traffic agencies in the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu cities.

Tancinco said  vehicles will be rerouted, with some roads made one-way or closed at certain periods of the day.

He earlier called on Cebu residents to  stay at home during the meetings or go out of Metro Cebu during weekends to help ease the traffic congestion.
