Huawei brings Kathryn-styled, limited edition Y3 and Y5 in Cebu

Huawei and celebrity teen queen Kathryn Bernardo offered its limited edition, Kathryn-styled Huawei Y5 and Huawei Y3 in an event dubbed as, “The Royal Affair” at the Terraces Ayala Center Cebu City last August 15.

The Huawei Y5 and Huawei Y3 inspired Kathryn to design back covers, to which she said, “Why don’t I make my designs available to consumers by bundling it with the Huawei Y3 and Huawei Y5!” They were specially priced, solely for the event only, at PhP 2,990 for Y3 and PhP 3,850 for Huawei Y5. Part of the proceeds will be donated by Huawei Philippines to Kathryn’s charity of choice.

There were only two hundred (200) units of Kathryn-styled Huawei phones available during the event and all were sold out said Huawei’s Senior Marketing Manager Corinne Bacani. She added that the Y series was launched last June 20 and meant to target the young market from 14-20 years old.

Another set of 200 units of regular Huawei Y5 and Huawei Y3 were sold at the Huawei event booth at the Ayala Center Active Zone Area during the event. Each unit purchased also entitled one for a Meet & Greet pass.

This event in Cebu City was only the first leg of a series of Huawei Y3 and Y5 Royal Affair events. For any upcoming and detailed events, follow HuaweiDevicePH on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
