REY Velarde topped the August edition of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) monthly tournament last Saturday at the SM City-Cebu Bowling Center.
Velarde toppled 1,359 pins to bag his second monthly crown after also winning the February edition.
Velarde was way ahead of Makoto Osada, who netted 1,286 pins.
Ronan Barredo wound up third with 1,264 pinfalls.
Other monthly winners include Nestor Longcanaya (January), Jake Yap (March), Doc-doc Gothong (April), Ed Dilla (May), Fel Alagasas (June) and Jomar Jumapao(July).
