Power distribution utility Visayan Electric Co., Inc. (Veco) and food processor Profood International Corp. were awarded as the top corporate business and real estate taxpayers in Mandaue City.
Coming in second and third in business tax payments were Zuellig Pharma Corp. and Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc., respectively.
In property tax payments, other awardees were Foghorn Inc., Golden Great Value Properties, Inc., Vicsal Development Corporation, San Miguel Brewery, Inc., San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation, and Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc.
Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes led the awarding of the top taxpayers in the city as part of the city’s Charter Day anniversary celebration last weekend.
The awardees for the top sole proprietorship business taxpayer were Cler Engineering Services, Wintrey Enterprises, Marides Marketing, MGMM Freight Forwarder, Alrey Cargo Forwarding, Verma’s Construction, PLD Construction, Dynamic Castings and Vic Enterprises.
The top individual taxpayers for real property were Peter Yap, Raymond Ong, Henry Ongtuaco, and Jimmy Casera.
