A 33-year-old habal-habal driver was hacked dead by another habal-habal driver in barangay Tabok, Mandaue City last Wednesday night.
The suspect, Lecerio Samson, 40, fled after the incident.
Police said Samson and victim Roy Iway argued after Samson accused Iway of taking his spot where he usually parks to wait for passengers.
Samson went home after the argument. He later went to Iway’s house armed with a bolo. There, the two men argued until Samson repeatedly hacked Iway, said police.
