Proud to be a Z club

The administration, staff, and the entire school community celebrates the success, perserverance, and vigor of the Z Club of Childlink High School for being nominated as 3rd place for Service projects in the International community of the Zonta International. It is a feat that the school’s club was nomiated as 3rd place out of over 260 other Z Clubs from all over the world. Congratulations for a job well done!

Here is one of the service projects that the Z club students have done in the previous year.

Quoted from the message of International President Maria Jose Landeira Oestergaard, “sustainable change can be achieved through awareness and prevention of root causes via education,” the Z club of Childlink used their advertisement on the theme Anti-Violence Against Children as a way to make their advocacy known to many by showing it in the local theaters, television, and the internet for the months of September to November in time with the United Nation’s Celebration of Peace during Sept. and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Based on statistics, there are about 90,000 women and children viewers comprising 10% of Cebu City’s population. This advertisement was given approval by the Movie and Television Review of the Philippines.
