The Cebu provincial government sealed its donation of a 1,000-square-meter lot in Sudlon, barangay Lahug, Cebu City to the National Police Commission (Napolcom) last Friday.
Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III and Napolcom vice chairman and executive officer Eduardo Escueta signed the agreement that will allow Napolcom to build a P20-million two-story building for their regional office on the lot.
Escueta said their regional office will serve four provinces in Central Visayas.
Napolcom is still renting a three-floor building within Cebu City at P58,000 a month.
