MORE than P300,000 cash and assorted jewelry worth about P1 million were stolen from the house of a doctor on Thursday afternoon in barangay Punta Princessa, Cebu City.
Police said no one was at home when the house of Dr. Remedios Yap Bacasmas was ransacked.
A group of children was seen roaming around Bacamas’ house before the burglary was discovered.
The thieves entered the house by destroying one of the windows, said police.
