Team Rama presented its complete slate for next year’s elections at the Fort San Pedro Thursday morning.
Mayor Michael Rama said they are optimistic about winning majority of the 16 seats in the city council this time.
Rama and Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella are seeking reelection.
The group’s candidates for councilors in the north district are Jun Alcover, Ramil Ayuman, Raymond Garcia, Joel Garganera, Jerry Guardo, Edwin Jagmoc, JP Labella and Noel Wenceslao. Former mayor Alvin Garcia will vie for the congressional seat.
For the south district, the group’s candidates are Hanz Abella, James Anthony Cuenco, Joey Daluz, Lotlot Ignacio-Soon, Junjun Osmena, Joy Pesquera, Edu Rama and David Tumulak. Incumbent councilor Gerardo Carillo will run as south district representative.
Aside from the candidates, Rama also presented former South District Rep. Antonio Cuenco as the chairman emeritus of their party, which is dubbed Partido Panaghiusa sa Panerbisyo – Team Rama –United Nationalist Alliance (PPP-TRUNA).
