God says

“He said, she said.”
This is a common statement refer-
ring to conflicting  reports from two or more parties on an issue, usually made by  a man and a woman with no other witnesses.
While waiting for our meeting to start, a friend asked why his wife takes 15 minutes to discuss why they need to cancel a dinner. He said he can accept the situation as is and just say “Ok.” But she says a lot more.
I told him it’s because man’s brain has only one compartment. They can only handle one thing at a time. When he is presented with a myriad of subjects, he can’t take them in all at once and remembers only one thing.
A woman’s brain has multiple compartments. This is why she can cook food but is able to think that she should do the laundry first and that the water bill has to be paid tomorrow.
Women and men speak different languages. What she says may not be said in the way that he would say it.
Sometimes what he says is not what she thinks. And vice versa.
He says: “Dinner is good. But she says, “No, it’s not because you didn’t eat everything.”
She says: “It’s ok with me if you go out with your friends tonight.” But he says, “It’s ok as long as I come home early.”
If not explicitly said, there will always be assumptions, misunderstanding and confusion.
When men insist that women speak in a certain way  and vice-versa, that is where conflict arises. There is sure to be trouble when one or the other misinterprets what has been said or endows  a whole new meaning to a simple statement.
But there are words that will always be perfect. These are the words from God. When God speaks, there will be perfect peace and goodness. God’s words will never induce conflict. Whether we’re man or woman, it doesn’t matter. When we follow what  He says and not what we think and say,  nothing can go wrong.

The Holy Bible asserts that God’s way and word is perfect. Norman Giesler wrote: “The Bible is inspired, but is it inerrant, that is without errors? The reason for a positive answer is simple: The Bible is the Word of God, and God cannot err; therefore, the Bible cannot err…”
I always tell my children to always seek God’s Will through the Bible so they can make the right decisions. God’s word is truth. It is alive and will surely clear their minds and hearts especially when they are confused or hurt.
Lately , my son consulted me about a career move. Will he accept a new job offer or not?
The day after, my daughter said she’s emotionally hurt and doesn’t know what to do.
I told them I can only guide them with my motherly pearls of wisdom, but  God’s Word is their best guide. So I encouraged them to make time for a quiet moment with God and seek His wisdom. I reminded them that this has been the way I have ran our family as a single parent. We are enjoying God’s Providence because I have learned to seek Him before taking action or pursuing a plan.
“Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection”  (Proverbs 30:5).
So he said, she said? It’s really not important. We should not try to  dissect what another person says or impute a different meaning to them.
Silence your heart. Place yourself in God’s presence. And you can hear what He says.
It is perfectly true and good.
