CEBUANO auto enthusiasts can check out the much-awaited Volkswagen Passat premium midsize sedan at the Volkswagen Cebu dealership along A. Soriano Avenue at the North Reclamation Area.
The eighth-generation Passat, awarded the 2015 European Car of the Year, was shown to Cebu Daily News by Volkswagen Cebu branch manager Ren Dumaraos last Wednesday.
A media launch for the Passat is scheduled today (Tuesday ) but Dumaraos said the official launch of the sedan in Cebu is scheduled in November.
Cebuanos can make reservations or check out the elegant Indium Grey Metallic-colored Passat in the flesh at the Volkswagen showroom anytime.
The Passat offers impressive performance with German-tuned driving dynamics and a responsive and efficient 2.0 TSI engine generating 220 PS and 350 NM of torque and managed by a 6-speed dual-clutch Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen Philippines is extending the zero-percent-down payment, zero-percent-interest promotion on its popular Tiguan, Touran and Polo Sedan models until the end  of October.
Touareg customers, on the other hand, will enjoy zero percent interest for 36 months. The promo, which began in September, has been extended due to insistent public demand.
