Police identified the suspect as alias “Victor,” a resident of Quiot Pardo, Cebu City.

Initial investigation showed that the altercation stemmed from a confrontation between two parties, particularly involving the wife of the suspect and the wife of another individual, which escalated into violence and prompted the suspect to draw a firearm and open fire.

Authorities said both victims were not involved in the altercation and were merely trying to pacify the situation when they were hit.
