CEBU City Asst. Prosecutor Mary Ann Castro-Sanchez filed her affidavit at the Talisay City Prosecutor’s Office at past 10 a.m. today to support the six counts of libel she filed against Provincial Board (PB) Member Grecilda Sanchez-Zaballero whom she accused of sending defamatory text messages to her.
Sanchez accused Zaballero of trying to destroy her marriage to Leodegreco “Greco” Sanchez, who is Zaballero’s younger brother.
She admitted that her relationship now with her husband is not good.
“Yes, I and Greco are going through tough times. But as our wedding theme song goes ‘God gave me you.’ I committed to love him forever. So I’ll stand by my man. Love knows no boundaries,” she added.
The feisty prosecutor turned emotional as she wondered why he left her.
Castro said she will offer Mass tomorrow in celebration of Greco’s birthday.
Castro and Grecò got married in a Muslim marriage ceremony at Harrolds Hotel Cebu City last Aug. 18, a day after Greco was released from drug rehabilitation.
