THE Petron Blaze Spikers bucked a slow start and found their rhythm late to take down the RC Cola-Air Force, 25-23, 25-27, 25-15, 25-13, in the 2015 Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) Grand Prix women’s volleyball tournament on Thursday at The Arena in San Juan.
Brazilian reinforcement Rupia Inck unleashed another awesome performance while the triumvirate of Rachel Anne Daquis, Dindin Manabat and Aby Marano were also relentless for the Blaze Spikers, who are starting the regain their rhythm after a slow start this conference. Petron is now in the second spot with 5-2 (win-loss) together with Cignal, which absorbed a shocking five-set loss to Foton.
Inck unloaded 16 hits, three blocks and two aces for a total of 21 points while Daquis, Manabat and Marano chipped in 16, 11 and 10 markers, respectively, for Petron.
