A MAN was arrested in Mindanao as a suspect in the March robbery of an e-bingo club in Mandaue City.
Richard Daguman was arrested based on a warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Suceso Arcamo of Branch 47 in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
He was implicated in various robberies but denied any wrongdoing.
“Wala ko kahibawo anang ilang pasangil pero akoa ning atubangon sa korte (I dont know anyting about the allegations against me. I’ll face the charges in court),” Daguman said.
The warrant was issued in connection with his alleged involvement in the robbery of a pawnshop in Bohol last 2001.
Daguman was also linked to several robberies in Dumaguete City and other places, said Supt. Rex Derilo.
“Mula pa 2002 ang robbery operation ng grupo nila at kasama si Daguman doon (Their group has been involved in robberies in 2002 and Daguman was part of it),” said Chief Supt. Prudencio Bañas, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas.
