CEBU CITY, Philippines — More than a decade after starring together in the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival entry My Little Bossings, Bimby Aquino and Ryzza Mae Dizon shared the spotlight once again as they reunited on Eat Bulaga TVJ during Dizon’s birthday celebration on Independence Day, June 12.
The reunion marked their first appearance together on the noontime program in nearly 10 years, rekindling memories among longtime fans who followed the pair’s on-screen friendship as child stars.
Bimby-Ryzza Mae reunion
Aquino made a surprise visit to the show and even joined in a performance before sharing a lighthearted message for Dizon, recalling their close friendship during their younger years.

“Alam n’yo mga Dabarkads, technically, si Ryzza ang first kiss ko,” Aquino confessed to the public, drawing cheers from the audience.
(You know, my Dabarkads, technically, Ryzza is my first kiss.)

“Sana maibalik natin ang dati. Our friendship dati. Kasi, di ba, kung hindi man maging tayo, if we don’t end up together, kailangan ako ang ninong sa kasal niya,” he added.
(We hope we can bring back the past. Our old friendship. Because if ever we won’t end up being together […], I need to be a godfather in her wedding.)
As part of the celebration, Aquino gifted Dizon a necklace on-air.
The reunion also brought back memories of My Little Bossings, where the two starred alongside veteran host and actor Vic Sotto. Released in 2013, the film introduced the tandem of Aquino and Dizon to a wider audience and became one of the memorable family films of that year.

During Saturday’s episode, Aquino, Dizon, and Sotto recreated photographs they had taken 13 years earlier, echoing moments from their time together as child stars. The side-by-side images were later shared on the official Facebook page of Eat Bulaga TVJ, drawing nostalgic reactions from viewers.
The Bimby-Ryzza Mae reunion came as fans celebrated the enduring friendship between the two former child stars, proving that some bonds remain intact even after years apart.
