Sunrise Events Inc. promises fun races in 2016

FOLLOWING the success of its last triathlon event for this year, Sunrise Events Inc. (SEI) promised the Filipino triathlon community a busy 2016.
Princess Galura, general manager of SEI, which was was responsible for last Sunday’s 3rd Safeguard For Men 5150 Triathlon in Panglao Island, Bohol, told Cebu Daily News that 2016 will be another year of fun racing.

“Triathletes will have more chances to improve or even win the race and of course meet new friends along the way,” said Galura.

SEI will kick off 2016 with the Vaseline Men’s XTerra Albay in February. Next will be the Century Tuna Ironman 70.3 in Subic Bay, Zambales in March followed by the  Ironman 70.3 Vietnam in May. The Regent 5150 Triathlon will follow in Subic in June before the much-awaited Cobra Ironman 70.3 Asia-Pacific

Championships in Cebu in August. The Safeguard For Men 5150 Triathlon will again be the last event to be held at the Bellevue Resort in Panglao, Bohol.

SEI sealed a three-year partnership with Bellevue as hosts of the Safeguard for Men 5150 Triathlon.

Last Sunday, 754 triathletes participated in the Olympic-standard distance race in Bohol.
