Police are checking if there was no foul play in the death of a 63-year-old Swedish national, who was found dead inside his house in Lower Pakigne, Minglanilla, Cebu last Saturday.
Police said Tomsz Staszewski was found unconscious on his bed by his live-in partner who sought police assistance.
Staszewski was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead by doctors.
Police, however, were taking a closer look at the death since there were bruises at the back of the victim’s head and body.
Police have requested for an autopsy to determine the the real cause of the victim’s death.
