A man stabbed his neighbor after a fistfight and attempted to shoot him Sunday afternoon in barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
Alejandro Balansag was stabbed in the left torso.
Suspected assailant Esoy Romano escaped after the incident.
Balansag told police that at around 2 p.m., he had a fistfight with Romano.
He said Romano took a gun and shot at him, but the weapon misfired.
At about 5 p.m., Balansag went out of his residence and Romano, who was waiting outside, stabbed him.
