Fiscals ask P10,000 allowance

PROSECUTORS assigned at the Regional Trial Court (RTC) asked the Mandaue City government to include them as recipients of monthly allowances.

Prosecutor Liceria L. Rabillas of Branch 7 and Prosecutors Naruzen Lorete and Ernesto Narido Jr. of RTC Branch 12 Cebu City, wrote the Mandaue City Council asking that they be given P10,000 each as allowance.

“(We were assigned to) prosecute the criminal cases left by the Mandaue City Prosecutor’s Office effective April this year,” their letter read.

Their request was referred to the Mandaue City Council’s budget and finance committee for review.
