JAKE Yap was named the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Bowler Of the Month for November after he topped a six-game series tournament held last Saturday at the SM City Cebu bowling center.
Yap finished the tournament with 1,291 pinfalls and had his best performance in the fourth game, where he knocked down 248 pins.
Marvin Sevilla placed second to Yap with 1,280 pinfalls followed by Emie Osada with 1,279. Fourth and fifth-placers were Gretchen Tormis (1,194) and Omar Marsangca (1,185), respectively.
Yap will join the previous winners of the bowler of the month tournaments in December’s Bowler of the Year tournament.
