PAULO Inoc took the fourth leg of the 2015 MS Motosuit Motocross Series by storm when he snatched two crowns in the competition dubbed as the 1st Mayor Paz Radaza Motocross Cup held over the weekend at the parking lot of Gaisano Island Mall in barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.
Inoc ruled the expert category, upstaging race favorites Jubenile Abellar and Jonjon Adlawan, who settled for second and third places, respectively.
Inoc also dominated the intermediate class at the expense of the rising BJ Pepito.
Abellar still had something to celebrate as he beat Adlawan to win the pro open division. Abellar’s victory denied Inoc of a third title as he settled for third place.
Joining the winner’s circle were JP Cuesta, Renren Hisoler, Gelo Leonardo and JB Lim.
Cuesta ruled the open enduro followed by Dongkey Sanchez and Hisoler.
Hisoler went home with the local enduro crown, while Leonardo topped the the beginners open production and mini class 855 cc contests.
Lim, for his part, plucked the novice open production tiara.
Paul Pierre Marapao prevailed over Rolly de la Calzada and Atoy Belican in the battle of veteran riders.
The top five finishers in the underbone were Wellie Borces, Jan Allain Cobierros, Jay-r Gualiza, Raymond Alivio and Emok Tarona.
Badon Kalago bagged the ladies division crown with Mariel Villafuerte, RK Cuesta, Tiffany Marapao and Kristine Hisoler completing the top five finishers.
Shaun Peralta topped the mini class 65cc followed by Alfonzo Famador, Vinz Kenneth Batulan, Dojie Basco and Ehrmi Terence Codeniera.
Famador grabbed the champion’s trophy in the peewee or mini class 50cc category. Executive division winners were Ayen Ledesma (A), Paul Pierre Marapao (B), and Noli Rim C.
Presented by Lou Ornopia, owner of MS Motosuit Stores, the race was organized by barangay Captain Isabelito Darnayla and supported by the city of Lapu-Lapu headed by Mayor Paz Radaza in association with congresswoman Aileen Radaza.
