SIRENS blared at the Cebu Business Park early morning yesterday as workers, covering their heads, rushed out of buildings of different establishments.
The scene was part of annual fire and earthquake drills for building occupants to remember what to do during emergencies.
“This is critical since the population here is of high density. Everyone should be aware where the designated areas for evacuation are,” said Juan Tormis, administrator of Cebu Business Park.
Personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection, Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, Armed Forces, and Office of the Civil Defense participated in the drill.
